British Council Mexico is working with Hackademy bootcamp to deliver an intensive digital training in web development, leadership, and gender perspective.

Thebootcamp is delivered to Mexican women from various social contexts to help them improve their employment opportunities in the Information Technology (IT) sector.

This Grant Partnership Call will fund one UK Higher Education institution or organisation (see Eligibility Criteria) to design and implement capacity building activities or tools on EDI values and gender for Hackademy.

Applicant institutions and organisations should develop a six-month plan, commencing in March 2023, clearly outlining a timeline for the delivery of capacity building activities, including but not limited to the design of a toolkit with presentations and materials on EDI concepts and methodologies that Hackademy could translate into content for future training sessions.

Capacity building activities could also cover concepts and theory of women in tech industries, and in topics such as: data engineering, data science, Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence, Computer Security, Computer Science, and DevOps.
