This year’s conference theme, Teaching [what] counts, was an invitation to take the discussion about the true essence of teaching, what good teaching looks and feels like in the current times. We incorporated relevant topics such as motivation in education, inclusion in the classroom and exploratory-action research, which are key elements to help educators be more relevant and effective in the student’s learning process.

We presented two full days of talks and workshops delivered by specialists from Mexico, the UK, Canada, France, Spain and Uruguay. Our BBELT 2019 speakers invited you to start the conversation about the value of English language teaching and helped you discover new approaches to day to day teaching challenges, providing you plenty of innovative ideas to enhance your motivation.

Many thanks to our plenary speakers: Ceri Jones, Paula Rebolledo, Tyson Seburn, Steve Brown, Bethany Cagnol and Mercedes Viola, for sharing their knowledge and experience.
