Our Secondary English courses will develop your children's communication skills for study, travel and following their own interests.
Through an entertaining and contemporary curriculum, students will use English in an authentic way to participate in topic-based lessons, collaborative project work and research-based learning.
Books include literary masters such as Dickens, Shakespeare and Chaucer, as well as content-based texts on the rainforest and climate change.
English Course Overview
Duration: One year (40 weeks)
Levels: Beginner – Upper Intermediate (A0–B2)
Your child will:
- Explore a wide range of subjects through collaborative and independent study
- Improve their confidence in spoken English
- Build strategies for independent learning inside and outside the classroom
- Learn to present work effectively and accurately in English
Study options
The course is a year long course of 40 weeks (80 hours a year) spilt into 2 terms (Spring and Autumn).
